Pregnancy can also be scary, difficult to navigate, and isolating. A lot of the uncertainty comes from the lack of centralized and verifiable resources for women throughout their pregnancy journey as well as pre- and postpartum. This is how Yemaya was born — an app to empower individuals going through pregnancy. This project was a group project for my Master’s in HCI at UCL, developed as our submission to the CHI Student Design contest 2023.

Run Crews + Location

CrewLove is an app that allows people to find running crews near them or in any location around the world. Joining a running crew is a way for adults to find community in a new city. This concept began when I saw a gap in the way that people were finding running communities: through a rabbit hole of Instagram accounts.After talking to countless runners on how they found their running crews, I realized there needed to be an easier way. Bringing the running community together globally. A new way to travel. A new way to connect.

B2B Platform

SURF Music is a B2B digital tool and marketplace for music makers to sell their unreleased music to buyers across the global entertainment industry. Many of SURF’s cutting edge and value-adding features were occluded by a hidden navigation system that did not present the top priorities of their users. The goal was to increase feature discoverability and highlight value for subscription tier upsell. Designed overhaul of platform navigation system and layout to support growth strategies.

B2B Platform

Addressing low conversion rates from the landing page to SURF subscriber. 0.8% of people via organic traffic have signed up. The issue? Lack of clarity on what the SURF platform offers, and transparency & trust through the payments process. I worked with the CMO to align messaging and show SURF’s capabilities from the landing page through to the subscription payments process on the platform.
