CDC OFR was using clunky legacy systems to apply for government procurements and acquisitions. Required understanding of the complex data architecture of the federal procurement data structure (FPDS) in order to manage all the information to pull into government contracts that would be sent through the correct approval workflow, and exported and saved in the database. This system was used to grant government bids for any purchase orders that the CDC maintained.

As a government agency, AAA compliance (in accordance with the WCAG) was required. I spearheaded the accessibility ux initiatives for the platform to ensure that we would be able to “go-live” on time, while passing all federal regulation.
